They all were involved in making good instruments. It was a skill passed on from generation to generation for centuries. The family workshop was located in the same shop, and the entire family lived in the very same house that the business was established in. Someone was able to list four generations living and working under one roof. Even their spouses and children become instrument makers, but it was all for the quality of the instruments.
